2022 Red River Paddle Challenge was a first for me. Event was well coordinated with great safety support on the river. All participants are tracked for movement, speed and location. I did not meet check point #2 max time. Provided estimate of +60 min behind. Treated with respect and dignity. Option to continue unsupported or stop. Support group was able to track down my ride waiting at finish and redirect to RMYC for pickup. I highly recommend to all. Train hard prior to. Utilize equipment tailored for speed. The Red River has little current to rely on. Thank you to organizers and volunteers. A rewarding day had. I’ll be back.

RRPC is a very well organized event. The volunteers are also extremely helpful should you require assistance.
While the race may be more challenging for some than others, it is an overall great experience and I highly encourage others to challenge themselves and give this a try.

This event is a highlight of my year !! From the pre race dance party, to the spectators cheering along the route , to crossing that sweet sweet finish line , the Red River Paddle challenge is nothing short of a wicked good time !!!
It is extremely well organized and the event has a place for every level of paddler from just starting out to national level athletes !!
Highly recommend it for those wanting to feel the reward of a good challenge!!

Fantastic event. Very well organized and the volunteers are the best! Everything runs so smooth, from the check in to the finish line and all the check points along the course. Looking forward to 2022!

Great event, well organized, perfect time of year, safety plans in place, and everyone involved from the racers, friends, family and fans to volunteers really enjoyed the event atmosphere. Looking forward to the next race this sept 2022 !
